Cabinet approves $219k overtime payments for Feb 2020-Dec 2021
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands (VI) has approved the payment of honoraria to public servants who worked substantially outside of their normal hours and areas of work for an extended period in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Territory.
Cabinet extends lifespan of RDA to Dec 31, 2025
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The lifespan of the Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has been extended to December 31, 2025, by the Cabinet of the Virgin Islands; however, the RDA must develop and execute a plan to transfer its knowledge and skills to the Department of Public Works, and any other relevant agency in collaboration with the Premier's Office.
