USVI resident indicted for not registering as sex offender
ST. THOMAS, USVI - On February 21, 2019, a federal grand jury returned an indictment against Jeffrey Cole, 57, of St. Thomas, Unites States Virgin Islands (USVI) charging him with failing to register as a sex offender, US Attorney Gretchen Shappert announced.

ST. CROIX, USVI - United States Attorney, Gretchen C.F. Shappert announced today, December 3, 2018, that Mohamed Hoseain, age 70, and Richard La Cruz, age 51, both of Guyana, pleaded guilty on November 28, 2018, in federal court to possession of cocaine on board a vessel.
Chesterfield sentenced to 5 years, 8 months in Federal Prison

ST THOMAS, USVI—Former Government House Security Officer, Neal Chesterfield, 41, was sentenced before District Judge Curtis Gomez to 70 months incarceration for his conviction of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine, United States Attorney Gretchen Shappert, announced Thursday, June 14, 2018. Gomez also sentenced Chesterfield to five years of supervised release and $100 special assessment.
