CBP seizes counterfeit luxury goods valued over $1.2M in San Juan

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- The US Customs and Border Protection officers in the San Juan Field Office have successfully intercepted and seized three shipments containing counterfeit luxury brand merchandise. The seized items, which included jewelry and sunglasses, have a combined manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of over $1.2 million, had they been genuine.

2 VI men arrested @ STT airport for alleged cocaine possession

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- — Jason Frett, 36, and Ashley Warner, 54, both of Tortola, were arrested today, May 24, 2018 on a complaint charging them with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, United States Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert announced.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Air and Marine Operations (AMO) agents, along with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), seized 292 pounds (132 kilos) of cocaine concealed inside two hidden compartments in a vessel intercepted leaving from St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI), towards Puerto Rico on Saturday January 27, 2018.
