Premier ‘optimistic’ VI will be able to ‘transition past Order in Council’
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The United Kingdom (UK) continues to shift the goalpost regarding the criteria for the removal of the Order in Council, which threatens to suspend the Virgin Islands (VI) constitution; however, Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) continues to be optimistic.
‘Work has now begun on all CoI Recommendations’; 24 complete- Premier
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Even though Ministries are currently preparing their updates as of August 31, 2023, Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) has said he can report that work has now begun on all of the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) Recommendations as outlined in the Framework Agreement of June 2022.
