Hon Flax-Charles calls for protection of children as VI welcomes 2020
TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI- Junior Minister for Trade and Economic Development, Hon Shereen D. Flax-Charles (AL) took the opportunity to call on thousands of revellers at Trellis Bay, Beef Island, to protect the Territory’s children.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – According to the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), studies show that a quarter and a half of all children around the world reported severe and frequent physical abuse. In addition, 215 million children are involved in child labour; a form of child abuse.
