Effluent from Burt Point sewage treatment plant alarms residents
BURT POINT, Tortola, VI – The newly commissioned sewage treatment plant located at Burt Point on the main island of Tortola caused major concern today January 30, 2016 when persons observed effluent coming from it and running into the sea.

Gov’t to build sewerage treatment plant, not waiting on Biwater!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Government will not be waiting on Biwater to set up sewerage treatment plants but rather it will be taking matters into its own hands and set up sewerage treatment plants to address the long standing sewerage woes of the Territory.
