HoA passes Register of Interests’ bill with amendments
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After a marathon session in a Committee of the whole House, the Virgin Islands Legislature- called the House of Assembly (HoA)- voted last week to approve the controversial Register of Interests Bill.
Gov Rankin assents to Register of Interests Act while making demands
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The United Kingdom appointed Governor John J. Rankin, CMG a few days ago assented to the Register of Interests (Amendment) Act, 2022. This was one of the many recommendations coming out of the controversial one-man Commission of Inquiry (CoI) report.

All HoA Members are 100% in compliance- Clearlie Brown-Turnbull
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Newly appointed Registrar of Interests, Mrs Clearlie Brown-Turnbull told the Standing Finance Committee (SFC) that all 15 House of Assembly (HoA) Members were in 100% compliance in instances where declarations by Members were due in 2021.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Governor John S. Duncan OBE recently blast the National Democratic Party (NDP) Government Ministers, alleging that they have failed to declare their interests for some six years. However, Premier and Minister of Finance Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith says, "Not me".
