Senate approves plan to revitalise horse racing in USVI

ST. THOMAS — There were doubts that the 31st Legislature would be able to pull it off, but after a Committee of the Whole meeting that lasted over 15 hours — and the meeting being one of this body’s last — US Virgin Islands (USVI) senators deliberated into the wee hours of Thursday December 1, 2016 as they decided whether to approve the agreement forged between the Governor Kenneth E. Mapp administration and VIGL Operations, LLC.
