70th Anniversary Emancipation torchlight procession set for July 29, 2024
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Virgin Islands (VI) Department of Culture will be holding a torchlight procession from the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park to mark the beginning of the 70th Anniversary of the Territory’s Emancipation Festival and 190 years of emancipation activities.

Rita Francis Festiville opens; ‘Letty’ Hodge is Parade Marshal
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Rita Francis Festiville was declared opened in Road Town on July 25, 2016, officially starting celebrations for Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival 2016.
