COVID or not! CoI team says it will be back in August!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Despite the Virgin Islands (VI) going through a challenging time where it is seeing record numbers of active COVID-19 cases and deaths, the United Kingdom (UK) sponsored Commission of Inquiry (CoI) called by the aggrieved ex-governor Augustus J. U. Jaspert days before his exit from the territory has said it will resume its work next month.

CoI team returns to VI next week; May hold preliminary hearings

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Commissioner of the Inquiry into governance in the Virgin Islands, Sir Gary R. Hickinbottom, will be returning to the Virgin Islands (VI) next week and is currently considering holding preliminary hearings in the VI in late April and early May, prior to the main oral hearings.

Laid off LDB workers feel ‘used’

LITTLE DIX BAY, Virgin Gorda VI- After working at Little Dix Bay Hotel and Resort for 15, 20, 30 and even over 45 years for some, laid off staff members of the resort have parted company feeling “used” and have accused management of being insensitive towards them during what was reportedly a very difficult last couple of months for them.
