VI Elections' Officials laud USVI’s efficiency @ recent Polls
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Acting Permanent Secretary in the Deputy Governor’s Office, Ms Carolyn Stoutt- Igwe and Supervisor of Elections, Ms Juliette Penn, has lauded the elections process for the recently ran Democratic Primary held in the United States Virgin Islands (USVI).
Deputy Governor’s Office calls for updated Election laws by year end
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – With General Elections constitutionally due in 2019, the Deputy Governor’s Office has commenced their preliminary preparations such as updating their staff database, looking to recruit new staff and is also looking to introduce new polling stations but they are also calling for updated Election laws to be enacted by year-end.
