18 confirmed Zika cases in VI; 36 suspected– Hon Ronnie W. Skelton
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – After an onslaught on the media over reports of Zika virus infections in the Virgin Islands by first term representative Hon Melvin 'Mitch' Turnbull, Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton has announced that there are now 18 reported cases of Zika infections here.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - There were two new cases of the Zika virus in the USVI according to the Department of Health and the weekly Zika report, bringing the total count territory-wide to 26. Of the new cases, one was recorded in St. Thomas and the other in St. Croix.
