Fish farming in USVI: ‘What is wrong with us over here?’- Violet Thomas-Gaul

Bryan Jr recently announcing plans for a fish farming project in that territory, talk show host Violet Thomas-Gaul has expressed disappointment that the Virgin Islands has not advanced any such plans despite having the information.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- Governor Albert A. Bryan Jr met with representatives from Caribbean Sustainable Aquaculture (CSA) last week to discuss the introduction of fish farming to the US Virgin Islands Virgin Islands. The initiative aims to enhance food security, promote sustainable agriculture, and stimulate the local economy through innovative aquaculture practices, according to Government House.
PEP believes NDP Govt. has neglected agriculture
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The People’s Empowerment Party (PEP) believes that agriculture is being neglected under the current National Democratic Party (NDP) Government and said that this is one area that will be given much focus if the party – the Territory’s newest political party – is given an opportunity to govern.
