Relatives suing Gov't over inmate’s death at HMP
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Attorney General’s Office has confirmed that the relatives of a St. Thomas man, who was serving time in Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP) for firearm and drug possession, are suing the Virgin Islands’ Government for his 2009 death in the correctional facility.
