115 individuals naturalised as British Overseas Territories Citizens
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- One hundred and fifteen individuals have been naturalised as British Overseas Territories Citizens following two ceremonies held at Government House on June 16 and 17, 2025.
80 persons naturalised as VI citizens
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Eighty (80) persons received their Certificates of Naturalisation today March 26, 2019. The new citizens who can now be registered as British Overseas Territory’s citizens (BOTC) recited the Oath of Allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen, as well as a Pledge of Loyalty to the British Virgin Islands at a ceremony held at Government House.
Naturalization sharply declines over 5 years – Civil Reg. & Passport Off.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – There has been a sharp decrease over five years with regards to the naturalization of persons according to the 2013 annual report of the Civil Registry and Passport Office.
