ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Key stakeholder in local telecommunications company CCT Global Communications Dr Heskith A. Vanterpool said the company will continue to fight the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) for what he called the unfair demand to give up a portion of a frequency that the company sees as critical to the capacity of its network.
VI may benefit from LTE spectrum until next year

Malone said operators will need about six months from the time they receive their licence to deliver LTE services to customers but there needs to be consultation with industry players to determine when those services can be delivered.
'Go Public with CCT decision' – Digicel tells TRC
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Digicel is publicly requesting that the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) of the Virgin Islands publish its formal written decision relating to its recent announcement that it had fined CCT $50,000 for "illegal and unauthorized" use of the LTE spectrum in the Virgin Islands.
