124 take oath to become British OT Citizens of VI
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Some One hundred and twenty-four persons (124) are now British Overseas Territories Citizens (BOTC) of the Virgin Islands (VI) having taken the Oath of Allegiance and Pledge of Loyalty.
80 persons naturalised as VI citizens
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Eighty (80) persons received their Certificates of Naturalisation today March 26, 2019. The new citizens who can now be registered as British Overseas Territory’s citizens (BOTC) recited the Oath of Allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen, as well as a Pledge of Loyalty to the British Virgin Islands at a ceremony held at Government House.
48 persons naturalized today
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - "Today you would become citizens of the Virgin Islands and would be entitled to enjoy the constitutional rights that come with citizenship," said Registrar General Mrs Stephanie Benn in her remarks to the 48 persons who became Virgin Islands citizens this morning February 5, 2015.
