Police officer arrested for allegedly attempting to smuggle contraband into HM Prison
BALSAM GHUT, Tortola, VI- Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are investigating a report about one of its officers attempting to smuggle contraband into His Majesty's Prison on Friday, July 5, 2024.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- Two people from the Dominican Republic and one from Venezuela were arrested at the beginning of the week, when US Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations agents intercepted a vessel south of Caja de Muerto, an island 8 miles off Puerto Rico’s south coast.

SOUTHCENTRAL, St Croix, USVI - A man was arrested on Thursday, April 12, 2018, and charged with promoting prison contraband and introduction of narcotics or addictive drug into the prison, after he was caught with prison contraband at the Golden Grove Correctional Facility, Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) Public Information Officer, Glen Dratte announced Sunday afternoon.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI — A corrections officer in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) was on Friday November 11, 2016 detained by another corrections officer and later arrested by police at the Golden Grove Correctional Facility on St Croix after she was found to be in possession of prison contraband, to include marijuana, a cellphone and cellphone charger, as well as drug paraphernalia.
