THOMAS, USVI - The United States Virgin Islands Police Department (USVIPD) says a new scam affecting the territory’s economy, sees scammers cloning the cellphone numbers of residents by using a scanner that allows them to capture the serial number of a mobile phone and through it, the phone holder’s identity.
Maynard pleads guilty to wielding bat at ESHS students
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Kadeem Maynard, who allegedly ran Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) students with a baseball bat in the school’s compound over a stolen mobile phone, pleaded guilty yesterday morning, June 20, 2012 in the Magistrate’s Court to being armed with an offensive weapon.
