Labour Tribunal still seeking new Chairman several months later
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A vacancy is still out for a Chairperson of the Labour Arbitration Tribunal, according to a vacancy notice by the Ministry for Natural Resources and Labour on March 14, 2023.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Hon Melvin M. Turnbull (R2) says after months without a Chairman in place at the local Labour Tribunal, moves are being made to have a new chairman appointed.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Minister for Natural Resources and Labour Dr. the Honourable Kedrick D. Pickering today March 13, 2014 announced that Jamaican national Mr Paul B. Dennis QC will head the long awaited Labour Dispute Tribunal to be launched on May 1, 2014.
Governor, Gov’t & HOA failed Complaints Commission- Georges
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Complaints Commissioner Mr Elton Georges has once again pointed fingers directly at the sources he felt were responsible for the shortcomings of the Commission during 2012. The fingers have been pointed to Governor William B. McCleary, Cabinet and the House of Assembly (HOA).
Still no Labour Tribunal!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Back in May, 2013 Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour Dr the Honourable Kedrick D. Pickering had announced with confidence that by June, 2013 the National Democratic Party (NDP) government would have been able to adhere to the law of having the Arbitral Tribunal in place to handle labour disputes. However, months later this has not become a reality.
