Final round of water testing for Lead & Copper in St Croix

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- Governor Albert A. Bryan Jr announced this week that the Water and Power Authority and its local and federal partners are now seeking approximately 80 homes on St Croix to conduct the final round of testing for lead and copper contamination in the water.

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- A significant class action lawsuit has been filed against the [US] VI Water and Power Authority and Seven Seas Water Solutions USA LLC, alleging widespread lead and copper contamination in the drinking water supplied to residents of St Croix.

DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI– Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Marlon A. Penn (R8) says authorities have uncovered a metal extraction operation at the Pockwood Pond dumpsite on Tortola, which could be responsible for some of the fires there.
