ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Virgin Islands Parliament, known as the House of Assembly (HOA), for the first time in its history experienced a ‘Walk out’ by the Government in power when the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP), led by Premier Dr the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, exited the HOA without seeking an adjournment today, July 26, 2013.
