Effluent from Burt Point sewage treatment plant alarms residents
BURT POINT, Tortola, VI – The newly commissioned sewage treatment plant located at Burt Point on the main island of Tortola caused major concern today January 30, 2016 when persons observed effluent coming from it and running into the sea.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Mrs. Phyllis Evans, Clerk of the House of Assembly told the 2012 Standing Finance Committee (SFC) during her deliberations that her office has issues like any other department, including skeleton staff, overwhelmed human resources and pressure placed particularly on her and the Acting Deputy Clerk.
