Farley & Johnson comfortably win Beef Island Beach 10K

LONG BAY BEACH, Beef Island, VI- Veteran road racers Julius Farley and Rosmond Johnson had no challengers when the Beef Island Beach 10K was run on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Farley stopped the clock at 43:23.23 to take his second 10K win in a row.

Lennon Dabreo was a distant second in 51:22.93, while Phil Nelson, better known for his football talents with Wolues FC, placed third in 52:31.87.

Johnson the only female to finish under 1 hour

Johnson easily won for the ladies in a time of 59:53.87 and placed fourth overall. She was also one of only four athletes to dip under one hour.

Laura Arton was second in a time of 1:08:59.95.

Third for females was Kia Barry, who finished in 1:20:56.79.

The Beef Island Beach 10K was the final race of the road racing season.
