EAST END, Tortola, VI – ‘Island Services’, a crusade led by Pastor Elcon Roberts has reached the shores of the Virgin Islands blessing the hearts and lives of many through the ‘Spoken word’ and for tonight March 14, 2014, he will be ministering in concert with Evangelist Bridget A. Blucher.

This is all happening at the Upper Room Victory Church, Little Dix Hill, East End, Tortola. The group has completed two nights of powerful ministering in the ‘Spoken Word’ and to cap off the ‘Island Services’ in the VI is the concert tonight.

Speaking with the Virgin Islands News Online Evangelist Blucher said that she is no stranger to the VI and the VI is no stranger to her music. “I am here with the rest of the five member team to do God’s work, to bless hearts and lives through ministry and song,” she said.

The crusading stated in Anguilla in February 2014 then moved to Grenada on March 1, 2014 then to St Vincent, Antigua and now the VI. “Our crusading here climaxes with the gospel concert and there I would also be launching my newest album titled ‘You alone’,” she said, while noting that it is a privilege to be releasing her album in the VI.

But just what can one expect tonight as Evangelist Bridget A. Blucher takes the microphone tonight? “It’s a funny thing when God shows up; expect any and everything to happen… I take the mic and I promise to sing for two minutes and the Holy Ghost makes me sing for two hours. So we give way to the Holy Spirit, we decrease while God increases,” she stated.

Throughout the crusading the evangelist said that one of their key prayers is for unity in the churches. “The Bible speaks of the people speaking one language, having one mind, when they had that they had the attention of God.” This is what she says is lacking in the church, “The ability to come together as different people, from different culture. Sometimes we find so many things that separate us.”

Tonight’s concert is free and open to all and starts a 7:30pm at the Upper Room Victory Church. Persons would also be able to grab one of Evangelist Bridget A. Blucher’s newest album ‘You alone’ which carries a collection of twelve songs. This album she calls her favourite, “it’s my baby, it’s my pet album and consider it an honour to be releasing it in the VI,” she said.

There are certain people I hear saying "GOD is good all the time", then proceed to ask me for a small loan that they will pay back tomorrow as soon as they get to the bank. Is this bank in China or something? These so called bible toting Christians are the worst I have met yet and when I see them again I am telling them to give me back my money. If they needed it so bad, what makes them think I don't need it? When I hear a certain lady always saying this I want to slap her head off because she use this ploy to gain people's trust, but never me again with any of them. I will tell them there is a slow boat to China coming for them.

I find it in such bad taste that in this day and age people are still being suckered into this ancient belief system instead of actually thinking freely for themselves. I spoke to someone recently who has been a Christian their whole life, but never actually read all of the bible - this is so common. If you actually read the whole bible and understand it you will find it is not a book of love and salvation but rather one of anger, enslavement, prejudice, hypocrisy and violence.

In these modern times when there is so much information out there people need to really do some open minded research and they will be shocked at what grip Christianity and all other religions have on people and how they prey on the weak.

Not at all, I am very comfortable with my position with no doubts whatsoever as I have researched extensively from both sides of the argument and have read your book thoroughly. I can guarantee you haven't read your own doctrine completely, let alone the others that are out there that you dismiss.

Okay terrible, you know what bothers me about people like you, you have chosen your path, walk it by yourself. The Christian has chosen their path, but your only goal for coming on here is to convince the Christian otherwise.... so what if they aint read all the bible..... Whatever you following, did you read all the books???? stuppppsss

I am sold out to Christ, no bother try to convince me otherwise, you choose your path. I have chosen mines......

and the problem is that people like yourself force your beliefs on others. Great point in case is young children who rather than be taught useful facts in the school have to waste time with your ancient misconceptions of the world. But as is typical of someone of "faith" its ok for you but not for others who don't follow your way of thinking. My point for commenting on hear is to help get people to think freely, which is the opposite of religious folks.

Something for you to think about, all children are born atheists, sadly though the majority have one religion or another forced down their throats and they end up being as ignorant as their parents.
