ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Fahie Clan was the all-around family that won the 2021 edition of the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park (CBRTPP) 2nd annual family feud event.

The competition among four families was held last night Tuesday, December 21, 2021, on the lawns of the CBRTPP and streamed live on JTV attracting a large number of viewers.

The participating teams were the Fahie Clan, the Dougan Family, VI Gems, and JFC Family.

In the first knock-out round, each team had to say which was their charity of choice from options such as Spina Bifida awareness, The Family Support Network, BVI Red Cross, and BVI Cancer Society of which three of the four teams chose the BVI Cancer Society.

Families affected by cancer

The three teams each spoke of having lost loved ones to cancer and in the case of two of the families, they currently know several persons who are fighting the dreaded disease.

The Fahie Clan knocked out the Dougan Family while VI Gems whipped the JFC family to advance to the Final, however, the VI Gems won a $500 cash prize for coming in second.

Another group who called themselves 'the Winners' took on the Fahie Clan in a friendly round and they too took a whipping from the Fahie’s.

The game show was part of the CBRTPP three days of Christmas family event. Tonight will mark the official lighting of the Christmas tree, gift sharing, and a movie night.

They played a very honest game. It was fun to see such recreational activity done during this season. I believe it should be done each quarter of the year.
