ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Carvin Malone (AL) has called concerning a slow uptake of the available Pfizer vaccine booster shots in the Virgin Islands.

“I remain concerned about the extremely slow uptake of the Pfizer vaccine booster shots and the number of persons unvaccinated in the BVI,” the Minister said in a Facebook update on February 5, 2022.

He indicated that throughout the world, there is a need to reduce hospitalisations and deaths through the administration of vaccines.

“Our golden gems and our children are most at risk. As the world continues to drop all precautions, it is more critical than before that each of us do our part and vaccinate,” he added in reference to seniors and youths.

US COVID-19 death toll passes 900K

The Minister’s comments came as he shared an article that highlighted the US death toll as a result of COVID-19, reaching a staggering 900,000 propelled by the Omicron Variant.

Meanwhile, Since January 4, 2022, booster shots were made available to all residents of the Virgin Islands (VI), according to a Pfizer and COVID booster shot roll-out schedule published by the Government of the Virgin Islands.

People can clearly see what's going on. All the vaccinated people I know said "the government said two shots now they say a booster shot" so of course the people don't trust you all now. I guess it's not conspiracy theories anymore. Shots after shots like a heroin addict poor ginea pigs

I don’t care what the circumstances are you can never convince me that getting 5 shots within a 1 year period is good for your health…

Just look at the data this lawyer and doctor presented in court - https://www.bitchute.com/video/1sNMBjlcI03v/

My boosters boost my confidence exponentially. I still got sick on Christmas though. But just something about that needle I can’t give up.

Mr. Malone you have better and more important things to do and focus on in health social development and especially the hospital. Stop pushing snd forcing and scaring people into taking vaccine..ur selling the bvi bad and short especially when you are announcing to the world that all of our deaths are covid deaths.
    Be focus. Be wise..

After your first booster, you are given a card to confirm this but on the same card, there is a slot for a second booster. That doesn't look right to me. Am I supposed to expect to take a second booster or even a third? Further after taking two shots of one vaccine,(AstraZenecs) is it safe to take a different booster from Pfizer? Can the Minister or someone else help me with these questions?
