ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Robotics in the Virgin Islands received a major boost with the donation of robotic kits to the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports by Exness.

Exness, founded in 2008, is a leading global multi-asset broker offering retail trading services to clients in key regions.

According to a press release from Exness on September 25, 2025, this is a cornerstone of Exness' robust Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, underscoring the company's commitment to fostering technological literacy and innovation among the youth.

The donation, the release added, aims to equip students with practical robotics, coding, and engineering skills, preparing them for the demands of a rapidly evolving digital world.

The robotic kits were handed over to officials from the Ministry of Education and students of the Robotic Club.

Invaluable hands-on experience

Each kit includes various components, sensors, and programming tools, enabling students to build, program, and operate their robots.

Director of Exness in the VI, Mr Jacob Wissum, said the company believes it is crucial to invest in the future and empower the next generation with STEM education.

“These robotic kits will provide students with invaluable hands-on experience, sparking their curiosity and cultivating critical thinking skills essential for success."

The Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports, Hon. Sharie B. de Castro (AL) added, “These robotic kits will allow our students to explore complex concepts in a fun and engaging way, inspiring them to pursue careers in science and technology.”

Well if the Education Dept cannot bild schools or provide teachers, pay them propertly then thank goodness for people happy to fill their begging bowl.

The BVI Government have given away $3Billion Dollars to their family and friends and left the country with a disgracefully low minimum wage with some of the highest paid Ministers in the World. No roads, Intermittent water, Third world Communications, a deteriorating environment filled with filth.

But $3Billion in 8 years has been given to themselves and their family and friends and schools remain unbuilt, not maintained, not staffed, underpaid lacking equipment and constantly having to out with the begging bowl.

    What a disgrace.

    And thank you to Exness.
