ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Virgin Islands will remain under a 3-hour curfew until April 8, 2021, according to the latest Curfew Order gazetted on March 26, 2021.

"The public is asked to take note that under this Order, the Curfew remains in effect between the hours of 2:01 am and 4:59 am daily, from Thursday, March, 25, 2021 until Thursday, April 8, 2021, subject to such conditions as stipulated in this Order," Government Information Service (GIS) said in a press release.

The curfew will also place restrictions on persons who operate a vessel, which means they are only permitted to operate the vessel within territorial waters between the hours of 5:01 am to 10:00 pm daily, and within navigational limits to define the northern and southern boundaries of the VI's Exclusive Zone.

The curfew is currently in effect as signed by Governor John J. Rankin, CMG.

The Virgin Islands currently has zero active confirmed cases of COVID-19 and the territory continues the rollout of its COVID-19 public vaccination drive.

Ohhh wow I’m sooo surprised, who would of thought that there would be a curfew at this point in time ? Thank the lord I know the government isn’t taking full advantage of the situation and the curfew has ntn to do with control of the people because we know they have our best interest at heart. Maybe they’ll take it off in April, I can’t wait !

This is so sad that citizens allow a small group of far from reality men to take their basic human rights
