I guess they really can't get her to go home. There are so many other congenial approachable persons young and old that could have done this job. The civil service will never be any better as long as certain persons are there managing it.

The woman don’t have to apply for a work permit to work and she’s competent. And I’m sure she did not apply for this job; it was given to her. So instead of attacking her and venting you should direct your concerns to the DG and HRDepartment who jointly approved and appointed her.

My two cents are the young people need a chance. That is the ones who are willing to work. As a manager, I find that their focus is on a higher salary while SOME of them don’t even want to take a certificate course to help improve themselves.
I applaud the ones who have their qualifications and I would love to see them take their rightful place in the workplace.

This is the problem we are always gonna have in this country. If that position was up for grabs why not give a young person the opportunity? Then you want the young people to come back home after college. Why would they? When they are not giving a fair chance at some of these key positions.

To all the young people that is away studying be it the UK or the US, don’t come back!!!!. You will not be able to get a job. The jobs are given to the cronies and their inexperienced families and cronies. How can someone retire and most likely collecting a pension and is placed back on a paying position at another agency. That is so unfair. Damit man, give someone else a chance not the same old tough goats that is being rotated constantly from one department to another. You guys really need to do better than this. She retired after all those years, go home and volunteer your services if you need to do something and let someone else get a chance. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?
