Estelle, El A Kru & Third World headliners for VI Music Fest!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – English Grammy award singer and songwriter Estelle, Jamaica reggae group Third World and Antigua soca band El A Kru are the headliners for this year's Music Fest that is slated for May 27 – 29, 2012 on Cane Garden Bay beach.

This was disclosed by Rhodni Skelton, Events Coordinator of Cane Garden Bay Music Festival at a press conference a few minutes ago, Monday April 23, 2012.

According to him, on Friday May 27, Too Smooth band and a VI All Stars Showcase of some 14 local artistes will start the ball rolling. A surprise artiste will also be featured followed by Extreme band, Fireman Hooper from St. Vincent featuring Tizzy and El A Kru wrapping an energetic evening.

Third World is heading Saturday and Estelle on Sunday.

Now in its twelfth year, BVI Music Fest continues to bring world-renowned artists to the BVI stage. Past performers include Keyshia Cole, Trey Songz, Boyz II Men, Fantasia, Beenie Man, Wyclef Jean, Destra Garcia, Luciano, Lucky Dube, The Temptations, Roberta Flack, Percy Sledge, Shurwayne Winchester, Allison Hinds, The Stylistics, Maxi Priest, and Daddy Yankee.

    I love Estelle and Third World. Estelle is banging, I love her style and voice, she is so funny, down-to-earth and beautiful. My goodness, I haven't heard Third World in ages, the line-up doesn't seem too bad after all.

    Why all the naysayers do not give $100 each to this event then they will be able to bring in all the acts they want….. I am so sick of the criticism and at the end of the day they all will be at the dawn Music Fest with bells on!!!
