ESHS Sr Rams off to Florida, Bahamas games

-Playing at AAU Tourney in Florida then to Bahamas for C'bean Championships

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Senior Rams Basketball Team of the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) is off to represent the territory at two major international tournaments in both the USA and the regional Caribbean territory of The Bahamas.

Yesterday, April 11, 2019, the Rams departed Tortola to represent first at the AAU Basketball Tournament in Orlando, Florida on April 13, 2019, to April 14, 2019, then they will be flying to the Bahamas, to represent at the Caribbean High School Basketball Championships on April 17, 2019, to April 22, 2019.

Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) understands that accompanying the team are Head and Assistant Coaches, Steve E. Pavilion and Jason A. Edwin respectively.  The team’s Manager, Carolann Simmonds is also present.

The Ministry of Education and Youth Affairs and Sports is sponsoring the team.

    Glad to see our young men getting the exposure that they need to help them get to the next level. Hopefully it can continue so they can be able to play during the NCAA live period so they can be able to be recruited

      Youth affsirs snd sports, you all need to take littke league bsseball serious also, its the only sport with a real chance to land a professional in any sports around this region, check out our neighbor's next door and you all will see how many pro's they have now in MJL baseball. Hon Flax and Hon Wheatley, Bregado Flax should be on these kind of trips from here on too. Its time for all to be included.
