ESHS Rams & SDA Family Matters win opening games of Industrial Volleyball League

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The 2023 Industrial Volleyball League organised by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports (DYAS) got underway on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, with wins for SDA Family Matters and ESHS Rams at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

SDA Family Matters saw off the challenge of One Mart Superstore in 2 sets in Zone B while ESHS Rams defused TMF Bombers also in 2 sets in Zone A.

Game On & BVITB the Pillars forfeit

Republic Bank Blue Thunders and RTW Blazers received full points without breaking a sweat as their opponents Game on and BVITB The Pillars forfeited their games respectively.

SDA Family Matters needed to dig deep to win the first set against One Mart Superstore 22-20 but then came back to easily win the second set 21-14.

ESHS Rams proved too strong for TMF Bombers, winning the first set 21-7 and then closed the game out by winning the second set 21-15.

Thursday’s fixture

Play continues with four games on Thursday, September 21, 2023             

Cash-It will face Tident Block Party and BVITB The Pillars will take on Flow from 6:30 PM.

BVIEC Shockers will then clash with One Mart Yachting Provisioning from 7:30 PM.

At the same time, TMF Bombers will play Game On.

    Chi chi see that rebulic bank last year did well so he switch up to go with them cause his tem players left him due to his bad coaching and decisions
