Elections 2023: All 4 At-Large Legislators will lose seats– Skelton-Cline predicts
Those getting booted out of the House of Assembly (HoA), according to Skelton-Cline, will be Hon Shereen D. Flax-Charles, Hon Neville A. Smith, Hon Sharie B. deCastro, and Hon Carvin Malone.
“I don’t see Hon Shereen Flax-Charles running for the Virgin Islands Party, I could be wrong but I don’t see and because I believe that all four At-Large [Representatives] of the Virgin Islands Party are going to lose their seat. I think a consideration for Hon Flax-Charles is to run in the 9th," he said.
Skelton-Cline was at the time speaking on the Tuesday, January 10, 2023, edition of his Honestly Speaking show, the first broadcast of the series for the 2023 year.
“These are all my people and friends, all these people at one point or another I have helped to get elected… my interest is not Caesar, my interest is Rome… I am concerned about the Virgin Islands,” he added.
Possible new at-large candidates
Meanwhile, Skelton-Cline said Ronnie W. Skelton and Dr Kedrick D. Pickering would be able to bring to bear what they did in 1999, which is to bring huge reforms to the government.
He says for the next elections season, just eight people are needed with the VI's support to chart a course and move the VI forward.
"Seven to for the government and one to back-up... who the people don't have to second guess," he said.
He named former Speaker Ingrid Moses and Shaina M. Smith-Archer, along with Dr Pickering and Mr Skelton, as possible At-Large Candidates who can take the seats away from the current legislators.

Country above self is key to saving it. Not party preservation please stay awake.
Integrity integrity integrity
1) The United Nations
2) CARICOM
3) USVI GOVERNOR
4) OECS
If all these were against actions of our public servants, local and Caribbean people and our politicians' decisions and all of them kept moving forward regardless, the majority of us would have been hitting the ceiling if they failed to listen to them but we want to give the Governor and his UK Officials a free pass. It is time to end dictatorships of any kind. It is time to end colonialism. It is time to end the order in council and their attempt at direct rule. It is WRONG! It is anti democratic. Speak about these things.

I will stop there for now. If anyone needs more, please say as I have done a thorough research as there are plenty more that they are trying to get us to forget. The good far outweigh their bad but they do a poor job of promoting the work they have done for the people during a very difficult time while battling Covid, dealing with the catastrophic damages from the two category five hurricanes, and fighting off the UK Officials who are trying to take advantage of us during these difficult times to achieve their long-time awaiting goal of taking over the BVI for financial services and other monies and not about the people as they trying to make us believe. After doing this research exercise I agree with those who blame GIS for not doing their job to let the people have a constant balance of our elected government's accomplishments.
