SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- Many residents have called our news centre inquiring about what appears to be construction at the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School located in Sea Cows Bay.

Construction of a new playground in the school’s compound started on Monday, April 22, 2024, our news centre can confirm.

The project is funded by Unite BVI through a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Ministry of Education, according to our information.

2 playgrounds to be handed over today-April 26, 2024 

Unite BVI has committed to building a series of playgrounds in about five schools throughout Tortola. So far it has handed over a playground at the Willard Wheatley Primary School in East End.

Today, April 26, 2024, it will hand over playgrounds at Alexandrina Maduro and Joyce Samuel schools, according to a Unite BVI spokeswoman.

The playground at Ebenezer Thomas Primary School is expected to be completed in about three weeks.

      You must be illiterate. It’s not a government funded project. It’s a Unite BVI funded project. Go tell your government fix your roads. Other groups are focusing their finances on things they can fix independently of government
