‘Easter is about love, forgiveness & compassion’- Premier Wheatley
This is according to Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) in his Easter message to the territory on April 18, 2025.
According to the Premier, the Minister responsible for Ecclesiastical Affairs, Easter is a time to be grateful for our blessings and to share kindness, charity, and understanding with others.
“It is a time for us to come together in prayer, gratitude, and reflection on the enduring promise of new beginnings.”
Easter is the Christian holiday that honours the resurrection of Jesus Christ, described in the New Testament as having occurred on the third day of his burial after his crucifixion by the Romans at Calvary in 33 AD.
“On behalf of the Government of the Virgin Islands, I want to wish everyone a truly blessed and joyful season. May this time be filled with renewal and the everlasting love of Christ,” Premier Wheatley stated.

Its time our political representatives stop using this bs narrative to gain influence over the minds of the people. The Andrew Fahie Saga should be a wake up call to everyone but we seem to have learned nothing. Stop retweeting your colonizers sympathy. In Hoc Signo Vinces the motto of Constantine the Great who laid the foundation for European conquest and domination of the planet. Three things that we need to fight are Cowardice Treachery and Incompetence.
