EAST END, Tortola, VI- The East End Seventh-day Adventist Church is once again hosting its Community Day with a Health Fair on Sunday September 30, 2012.

The Health Fair will be held at the grounds of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fat Hog’s Bay.

The Health Fair begins at 6:30 A.M. with free health screening. There will be testing for blood glucose, blood cholesterol, blood pressure, urine and Body Mass Index (BMI).  For the first time at the Health Fair, there will be free glaucoma screening. The glaucoma screening begins at 10:00 a.m. “Come out and benefit from the free health screening and know your numbers that help determine your health status.”

If you will be taking the blood glucose and cholesterol tests your last meal should be Saturday evening and you should not have anything to drink after 12 A.M. After the testing you will be given a light breakfast.

Visit our Intercessory Prayer Room and have individuals intercede on your behalf. In this stressful atmosphere we live in, we all need prayers.

Come by our clothing selections, and get that outfit or pair of shoes for work, church or a casual event for you or your children.

There will be school supplies for those who have not gotten all that was required when school started.

Come and join us at the East End Seventh-day Adventist Church grounds, as we give back to the community thanking God for His goodness towards us.
