EAST END, Tortola, VI- The East End and Long Look communities brought in the sunrise this morning, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, with celebration as the East End/Long Look J’ouvert revellers made their way through the streets from 4:00 AM.

Whether drenched in powder, paint or water, the pure vibes and nonstop energy promised by the planning committee were surely present as patrons partied in the streets from Greenland to Queen Elizabeth II Bridge and back.

Providing entertainment were Vibe on the J’ouvert truck, Big Shaw, DJ Pushpop, and DJ Dre on the Party Truck, who kept the vibes pumping and the energy high.

A display of freedom, culture & unity

The Virgin Islands Festival Committee described East End’s J’ouvert, saying, “This wasn’t just a celebration- it was freedom in motion, culture on display, and unity in every step.”

The East End/Long Look Festival was officially opened last evening, Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

Festivities continue in the East End/Long Look Community with the parade from 1:00 PM.

So many are dropping down passing away no longer on this earth yet the slackness continues and the moment someone passes away even if they were murderers, rapists, even if they knew what God expects but did otherwise they expect them to have rightful entry into Heaven.

Stop changing God’s Word for your own selfish ways and reflect on your lives to try to live for God and not yourself, not people and definitely not this world.

God’s Word clearly says what happens if we don’t be obedient and surrender our lives to His will.

It’s time to think of that family member or friend who passed who wasn’t living for Christ.

It’s time to think of how you are living and ask yourself would God be pleased, would you be bending over gyrating, exposing your breasts and privates for attention, singing and dancing to worthless music if you stopped and realized God is seeing all of this behaviour?????

Your loved one who passed may not be here to get the chance to change their life if they weren’t living for Christ to have an eternal home in Heaven but you are here now so stop taking life for granted and choose to respect God each day by living for Him in your actions.

This is one of the largest juvet i've ever seen in East End. However i have observed this juvet had the largest amount of young people.
A word to those in power. If you don't find a way to help these young people you all are going to be in for a run next election.

Lots of untouched potential and human capital. Don't play the fool with them. They are not foolish one hype can't pay bills they need jobs. I don't want to hear about them lazy. Give them a chance to prove themselves and be patient with them. Someone was patient with you pay it forward you had to learn. Teach them. Festival seemed to have gone well. East set a New record so far. Culture is key to emancipation don't loose sight of it. Our ancestors sweat, tears and blood must not be forgotten.

What looks like a cesspool. Many will add you and try to justify him blah blah blah and yeah yeah yeah but it is what it is. It’s amazing how many souls the devil has won. It’s amazing how many souls the devil actually have on his side. It’s amazing how many people are losing their lives without any connection to God. It’s amazing how these things always try to be justified by the work cause of the devil. Condolences to Dj Mac Milli and the entire family. My advice to Mac Milli is to seek rehab. There’s been more than one incident this dude to get drunk and did weird things. The people who is wrong, his Dj, friends and other people around he needs to separate himself from them. He needs to surround himself with God, not in a public or public attention by self devotional of self awareness.. We find too much excuse for us to continue living a life without God we find every reason why we should get drunk and high every single day and we can’t find one reason why we should just live for God. God see us and he watching us and he noticed a lot of us only come to him when we in deep shit but once we are not in deep shit, we just live for the devil and that is not right that is not fair. The singers will always justify why they do what they are doing always yet. It doesn’t mean they are right because this sounds good vocally or it was worded properly. The over smoking over drinking and over sexuality we have publicly brought in on a level. It is ridiculously out of control. I still can’t believe those guys bring in 35 certified homosexuals to host an event but yet why are we surprised when the event was not even a girl event so who else is gonna expect to bring in to host me part of event and the devil children, the fact that they invest in a homosexual to bring into our culture in such a way that it was so public and so open and it seems so cool and seems so right, but honestly, it is wrong. It is wrong. More. It is wrong spirituality and no justification will never justify the nastiness. Come this Sunday. The church will be empty because every excuse why not to go to church will be on the table next Sunday night. Have a nice jam and see the difference. We are dorm as a community. We need another August flood or another September hurricane to come and weep us All of us and show us the power of God.

History speaks for itself , but it's not LL/EE emancipation, it's more like east end/Greenland emancipation
