PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI – This evening April 28, 2012 sometime after 9 p.m., a jeep coming from Road Town lost control and ran into the old wind mill in the vicinity of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College but no one was injured.

When Virgin Islands News Online arrived at the scene, Police were still there and confirmed to this news site that the driver said he experienced some mechanical difficulties.

The mill, which was used in the "old days" to pump water, was smashed into pieces.

Workers from the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) was on the scene as well to remove some of the debris that were strewn around the accident site.

I stand by my statement but also add that too many idiots believe what they read. The driver should be able to easily prove if there was a mechanical error - but i would bet my last dollar that when it goes to the garage apart from dents they will find no mechanical error. Idiots!
