Too many people think they’ve been appointed road monitor though. From the sea you can see one car backing up 25 an no car in sight in front of them.

Have traveled on the Ridge Road several times over the past week. It seems people are in such a rush these days, and aggressively driving these (in certain areas) treacherous roads and intersections, with little regard to safety.

I have a sneaky feeling the fleeing driver should not be driving that vehicle.

I have experienced people overtaking on roads where there is no road to pull off, on corners were the risk of collision is high and in areas where there is a crosswalk or a high presence of pedestrians.

There are always drivers in the middle of the road in this location because an area of the road is dug up and in bad condition. Drivers swerve often and you have to dodge a lot of the time them avoiding the potholes in the roads. There are a number of road areas that need to be addressed so please drive with caution and consider others using the roads to walk, ride and drive. As for the driver that fled the scene more or likely might not have been driving legally or was up to something illegally.

Thanks to all the drivers following me at 10-20mph on Tortola's really bad roads and getting to their destinations safely. Remember to slow way down for sleeping policemen, blind curves, bicyclists, pedestrians on the road, villages, road construction, holes in the road, unpaved roads, darkness, rain, water on the road, vehicle accidents, road maintenance crews, electrical maintenance crews, derelict vehicles near the road, any live animal in or near the road, vehicles parked on the road, etc.

Once there are 10 vehicles closely following my safe speed vehicle then no more passing, including motorcycles!

The car rental know who rented their car. Just a matter of time to catch this IDIOT who left the scene.
