Drive-by shooting in the Sage Mountain area on Tortola

SAGE MOUNTAIN, Tortola, VI- Information reaching our news desk from law enforcement sources is that on Saturday, January 4, 2025, there was a drive-by shooting in the area between Sage Mountain and Windy Hill on the main island of Tortola.

The shooting allegedly occurred around 10:35 PM.

It is believed that a young male was being followed on his way home by car.

No one was injured in the shooting, but police were called to the area and many bullets were recovered at the scene.

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing and the young man who was fired after is allegedly a bit shaken.

    So he had no knowledge who was trying to shout him down and why???? Ok, maybe it was mistaken identity or mistaken vehicle. He should be giving thanks to the Almighty all now.

    What next? He has to move because we have no legal means to arm ourselves. Either that or go buy a illegal gun. Harsh reality.
