Dr the Hon Wheatley @ helm as Acting Premier until May 5, 2022
While away Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) will act as Premier in Premier Fahie’s absence.
Honourable Wheatley’s appointment is in accordance with Section 55 (1) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order, 2007 which states, “If the Premier is expected to be absent from the Virgin Islands for more than forty-eight hours, the Governor shall authorise the Deputy Premier to perform the functions of the Office of Premier; and the Governor shall revoke this authority on the return to the Virgin Islands of the Premier.”
Dr Wheatley will have all the portfolios of the Premier during his acting period.
Premier Fahie is currently attending the 2022 SeaTrade Cruise Global Conference in Miami.

Our former Premier Dr. Orlando Smitty done well at times, but was weak other times. No point going in details. What have been done are done
In my honest opinion our Hon. Current Prjer is very deceptive, and dies not have the citizens, residents, and belingerd intersty at heart., His second in command Hon. Natalio Sajande Wheatley is not qualified Spiritually, mentally, socially, economically and honestly for the position he now hold, neither does his boss, our current Premier.
Much better leadership is urgently needed as soon as posibk I hope the the voter would push aside selfishness, ignorance, personal greed, family ties, and so-called friendship for a better BVI after the CoI recommdations comes into force, and wise head prevail over unwise ones for the betterment of our country going firwds.
