Dr Ronald F. Smith-Berkeley Acting as Deputy Governor until August 17

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, Dr Ronald F. Smith-Berkeley is acting in the office of Deputy Governor.

According to the Government of the Virgin Islands, in a press bulletin today, August 7, 2025, Mr Berkeley will act as Deputy Governor until August 17, 2025, in the absence of Deputy Governor, Mr David D. Archer Jr, who is out of the Territory.

Dr Berkeley’s appointment is in accordance with section 36 of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order, 2007.

Meanwhile, Mrs Rosalie Adams, OBE is Acting Governor until August 12, 2025, in the absence of Governor Daniel Pruce, who is out of the territory.
