Congratulations Mr Wright, no major scandals beside having a daughter on the side while still being married to the wrong /Wright lady. I do not hold that against you though. I really however thought that the Mrs Wrong got over that. Can't believe she is still blaming expats for something that happened years ago. Calling expats dirty because of a last grevience. Unbelievable. Most men married to locals and see one of expats beauties are liable to fall. Get over it lady.

@ action; What you have typed is down right destructive to say the least. Everyone reading your post can see right through your soul though you are hiding behind anonymity. I happen to know Mr. Wright "Storm" and we all do have a past but you have gone down to the Mariana Trench to dive up his past that has been cast there by a loving and forgiving Elohim. I guess you have not read what happened to those unfortunate five who lost their lives down there. Imagine you going there to dive up confessed and forgiven sins. YOU are bound to encounter a catastrophe in the spiritual realms if you don't stop being a bitter busy body. And you know what?.... Heaven was made for those whose sins are forgiven....
      Repent!

One thing about Storm, he owns up his past. He would probably shake that person’s hand and tell them thanks for the reminder.

      What a despicable comment.
Jesus said he came to save sinners - that it's the sick, not the well, who need a physician. Scripture also says that all have sinned and that God will have compassion on us and cast our sins into the depths of the sea.
The implication in your judgemental post is that you are sinless. I am happy for you. I am happier still that Dr. Wright knows a God whose righteousness, forgiveness, love, and mercy are more than a match for the sins of his past. May he continue to serve the One who forgave the thief on the cross, and continue to use his personal experience to tell of God's transforming goodness.

As a practicing Christian I have always been careful not to get involved in service clubs. To me they do help people in need and do good work generally. It’s the public recognition I hate. Matthew 6:1-4 teaches us that be must be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others.

That's your choice. The Scripture you quote addresses motive and intention. Who are you to sit as judge and jury? Do you have any idea of the countless people, from all over, that this man and his wife have helped over the years without an ounce of publicity? Remove the log from your own eye!

This response is for action, however before l do that let me congratulate my Bro. Dr. Wright l know that your presidency is a well deserved responsibility. My family and l wish you all the best. Now, Action you must be an individual who is full of canker worms, eating at your soul. Every article that you can write something negative about Mrs. Wright, you find something derogatory to say. So let me set the record straight for you. There is not a family in Purcell who has lived in the BVI for over the last 50 years that cannot stand witness to the kindness of Mrs. Wright’s family to expatriates. I don't think that there is a family that her parents did not help in some way. Most of the men who came to Tortola in the 60's got their first job through her father. Every Christmas it is at her parents house we all ate our Christmas dinner when we had no family here. Every birthday and Christmas her mother was sure to send cake, tart and a gift for our children. Mrs. Wright is the first name that comes to mind in Purcell when a person needs help. You can be from anywhere she will try to help you, ask the Dominicans, the Philippinos and us from other West Indian islands.. I don't know how you come to your conclusion that she don't like expatriates because l know half of her family is from other places originally. The Hodges she hails from are from Anguilla and half her mother side is from the Dominican Republic. Stop hating people you don't know ask God to cure you of malicious behavior and hatred.

I have no doubts that her parents were fine loving and giving people. But please tell me all you abbetors. Where were you when she made that ungodly, hateful, downright dirty remarks against my expats brothers and sisters. Did any of you called her up and say that was low and from the toilet pit. Did Mr Wright respond to her publicly and other wise. If her statement had any bit of truth in it and there was none it was said in a most derogatjve manner. The very fact that she did not apologize means that she believes the lie to be true.

So please call me what you like, call her saint if you so desire, but allow me the right to defend my expat family from this curse of a woman. Was God please at her statement. Waa it from a heart of love. Let me remember with fondness the kindness of her parents and let us remember the wrong woman from the person that she is. I wholeheartedly believe that Mr Wright is a decent individual, I am not responsible for the wrong person he got married to. So sorry that his kindness did not rub off on the wife.

I will renew my call for expats to demand respect from the likes of this wrong person. As I said why continue to hate expats for the wrong done by her husband.

It seems to me that Action has a real problem with Mrs. Wright. I know that the news often takes a person's statement out of context and may make what they said seem to have a totally different meaning from what they said. I suggest you personally ask Mrs. Wright what she said, why she said it and most importantly what she was trying to convey. You might be surprised, or maybe you just a hateful person and have decided to make her the object of your hatred.

My only issue is he keep referring to himself as Dr. which he is not. It is disrespectful to those that actually earned the right to be called Doctor.

The hate is really real, the next time you visit his office look at the pictures and the degrees on the wall. Also the church has a record of his transcripts and they call him Doctor, why can’t you?
