Dr Kedrick D. Pickering to rejoin NDP! Strange bedfellows!

Dr Pickering left the NDP in 2019 to contest the general elections as an Independent candidate in the Seventh District. He was defeated by the incumbent, Premier and Minister of Finance Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley.
NDP sources told our news centre that Dr Pickering will be announced today, Friday, March 3, 2023, at an NDP press conference scheduled for The Moorings at 3:30 PM.
Strange bedfellows?
Dr Pickering had told the public that the next time they heard from him he will be with a group, after announcing last year that he was running At-Large as an Independent candidate. It is unclear what caused the change of heart.
Others have said he had pledged not to ever work with a former NDP Minister who is also on the ticket, this time in a district, but politics makes strange bedfellows.
Dr Pickering was famous for accusing residents of “being jealous of me because I have rich white friends.”
It is unclear whether the former legislator, who could not be reached for comment up to the time of publication, will now be running in the Seventh District or At Large as he had announced in September 2022.
Our news centre will bring more information as the story develops.

You better stop this power struggle
It's causing the nation too much trouble
Endangering lives of innocent ones
It's bound to bring a revolution
Say you better stop this power struggle
It's causing the nation trouble, yes
Suffering the lives of innocent ones
It's bound to bring a revolution
This here left and right opportunism
Is creating crime and terrorism
And with all this knowledge and education
They're in a sad situation
So you better stop this power struggle
It's causing the nation too much trouble
Endangering lives of innocent ones
It's bound to bring a revolution
The voice of the people is the voice of Jah
So there's no need for no mastah
Just communicate together as one
So as to build up a nation
And stop this power, power struggle
It's causing the nation too much trouble
Endangering lives of innocent ones
It's bound to bring a revolution
Now if the children of today are tomorrow's generation
Then they will need some direction
And if two heads are better than one
Then there's no need for segregation
So you better stop this power struggle
It's causing the nation too much trouble
Endangering lives of innocent ones
It's bound to bring a revolution
Now every nation's future is in their youths
Who need true love and understanding
And with opportunities to be constructive
Then they must be productive
The aim should be progress and prosperity
True love, respect and unity
'Cause for a nation to develop as one
You've got to put away class, distinction
And stop this power power struggle
It's causing the nation too much trouble
Endangering lives of innocent ones
It's bound to bring a revolution
So you better stop this power struggle
It's causing the nation trouble, yes
Endangering lives of innocent ones
It's bound to bring a revolution

3. Pier park???
4. After the severe 2017 hurricanes the NDP refused assistance from the UK Navy(wanted to render assistance to OUR-PEOPLE)
5. Visit the Dump Site at pockwood pond(8 long years and the people continues inhaling muck)
This bloke was the deputy leader of this country(play the tape) because of them Great Britain up in here…..
nothing personal
7. Give white folks rights to deny access to public beaches.
The list is endless.
I will vote for him instead of the present Wheatley that gets to big to talk to.
I do not know why people do not educate themselves first as to what is going on in the BVI and notice the kind of leaders we need and not popularity, hand outs and who the person is.
Changes we need 1) An elected Premier and ministers with a callback capability.
2) Reduce some of the powers of the Premier
3) A sizeable budget for district reps. ( =>$5 million ).
4) District Council with revenue-generating capabilities and ability to liaise with district Rep.
5) At Large reps. with a clear mandate and a sufficient budget
