ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Delta Petroleum (DP) provided fun and splash in the sun with what is known to be the world’s largest inflatable water slide, as customers and families alike, come out to have fun and interact yesterday August 11, 2012.

This is the second year for the fun day, being held by DP in Road Town, behind the Government Complex organized by the Delta staff to build better and stronger customer-staff relationships.

Speaking to the mastermind of the event, Delta's Regional General Manager (RGM), Bevis Sylvester, stated that himself and his staff are devoted to their customers and their families and building bigger bonds and stronger relationships.

He added that with the giant inflatable water slide, most importantly, DP gets an opportunity to bond and interact with the children.

“The kids are our future; we buy into the kids, we buy into the future.”

Mr. Sylvester told this news site that Delta Petroleum is devoted to their customers and does a lot in the communities where they host many other events such as basketball tournaments in Virgin Gorda, sponsorship of fishing tournaments , fishermen and many others “to be announced.”

“We believe that our customers are our friends so we interact with them as our friends,” said Delta’s RGM.
The event that began yesterday at 11:00am, saw persons who bought $20 gas receiving five coupons; three of those five coupons could be submitted for a slide.

The event continues today August 12, 2012, at 10:00am, where parents are allowed to slide later in the day.

This is an excellent gesture by Delta Petroleum to host this social community event, where children and parents can get together for a day of enjoyment. In the future I hope there will be more, and different activities for the youths to enjoy. BEVIS rocks.

these kinds of socal activities are great to bring the community together. It no longer becomes fun or exciting if let' say, this was 24/7 next to a ferris wheel and merry-go-round. special activities are better than an amuzement park in cruiseship "village". Keep these activities separate and special.
