Labelling it a strong Trumpism mentality, Bishop Cline stated on his podcast ‘BVI Politics’ on October 19, 2026, that some politicians are offering refrigerators, stoves, and even paying rent for votes. Bishop Cline did not call any names.

“Now I will be the first to tell you: if you need the help, take the help, but do not let political pimps turn you into a political prostitute. Don't do it. Your vote is not for sale. Your voice is not for sale.”

‘Don’t let them pimp you out’

Bishop Cline said he is aware of “how politics is played”, but it doesn’t have to be that way. “If you need help, take the help, but you’re not a political prostitute. So don't let political pimps pimp you out for your vote. So, take the refrigerator if you want. Take the stove if you have to. Some people need some help with some cash.”

“There was a saying some time ago [that] you got to drink them out, eat them out, and vote them out. You are not a political prostitute, so don’t let them pimp you out. They are political pimps if they come to you trying to buy you like that.”
