Disney Treasure makes inaugural call to VI with 2978 passengers & 1713 crew
The Treasure, Disney Cruise Line’s newest and most innovative ship, made its inaugural call to the Virgin Islands with 2978 passengers and 1713 crew.
According to the BVI Port Authority (BVIPA), in a press release, a plaque exchange ceremony onboard the ship marked the occasion, with Captain Marco Nagara, Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Kye M. Rymer (R6), BVI Ports Authority officials, VI Government representatives, Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) representatives and Disney’s local agent commemorated the inaugural.
The ceremony, according to the BVIPA, underscored the strong partnership between Disney Cruise Line and the VI, a marquee destination on the Treasure’s Caribbean itineraries.
