ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - After four successful years delivering the best value, best service and best network to its customers across the Virgin Islands, Digicel is proud to once again to be exciting the nation with its all new brand promise, “Be Extraordinary”.

Be Extraordinary is the next step in the evolution of the Digicel brand. It is a celebration of the “extraordinary in the everyday” and serves both as a motivational and inspirational call to action and showcases Digicel’s commitment to serving its customers.

At the forefront of the new brand promise is the Be Extraordinary TV commercial, which goes live today. The premise of the TV commercial is that the extraordinary is all around us – and that if we pause to take a second look, we can experience and appreciate it to its fullest. It highlights how Digicel helps customers to capture, share and celebrate the extraordinary in their everyday lives through its calling, texting, messaging and social networking services.

The TV advertisement is the central piece of a full through the line marketing and branding campaign which will see Digicel’s ‘Be Extraordinary’ brand promise being brought to life on, in stores, in print, on radio and online right across the islands. Throughout the day, customers will also be greeted by Digicel street teams delivering “extraordinary” tokens to one and all.

In addition, to mark the launch and underpin its commitment to its communities, Digicel is providing free cell service to the Crisis Intervention Centre, a unit that helps people in times of distress.  Along with this Digicel is proudly supporting the Dominican Republic Softball League that is running in March.

Digicel Virgin Islands CEO, Mr. Declan Cassidy, said, “Be Extraordinary is about celebrating everyday people doing extraordinary things and highlights our customers’ achievements in their day to day lives. It is as much a statement as it is a promise and a challenge to people to be the best they can be. Our role at Digicel is to support our customers every step of the way. It is empowering, positive, upbeat, celebratory and yet humble, because it’s not about Digicel but all about our customers."

He continues, “For four years here in BVI, our promise to customers has been one of value, network and service under the umbrella of the Bigger, Better Network. That commitment  remains strong, but the time has come to form a deeper, more emotional connection with our customers which empowers them to be the best they can be, with our support and challenges us all internally at Digicel to reach new heights for the good of our customers.”
