Road Town, Tortola, VI - Customers were surprised last weekend with a special offer allowing free local calling to any Digicel number all weekend long. From 5pm Friday 26th until midnight Sunday any prepaid customer was able to make as many calls to as many people as they desired.

Digicel BVI CEO, Declan Cassidy highlighted the offer, saying ‘“Digicel always gives great value and this is a unique way to reward our loyal customers,” Cassidy went on to state. “Customers were not required to do anything at all other than pick up their phone and dial any local Digicel number!’

The special promotion was announced to customers via an SMS and also their facebook page.  ‘We want to show our customers how much we value their continued and on-going support to us – we really do value every one of them’ Cassidy said.

Excited customers supported the initiative via Digicels facebook fan page stating -

‘Today is my birthday………..thank you Digicel’

‘I’ve been using Digicel for 4 years………..thanks for making life easier’

Digicel runs regular offers and all customers are advised to keep their phones switched on or monitor the Digicel BVI Facebook fan page for updates.
